- How Do I Verify a Business?-
*Google the business yourself and contact them.
Do NOT click on links that are ads or sponsored. Fraudsters often use those links to trick you.
I'm a victim of identity theft or a scam.
Who Do I Contact?
Identity Theft: Theft and/or use of personal information without permission
Scam: Someone tricked you into providing information or sending money
**In some cases, both can occur.
Step 1: Contact your creditors (bank/credit card co.)
Step 2: Report directly to law enforcement (local police, state AG's Office, or FBI).
*If you’re unsure where to start or what applies to your situation, a private consultation with me might help.
